تداوم اشتعال در موتورهای پیستونی پس از خاموش نمودن آن ،علت این امر وجود مقادیری سوخت است که در نقاط داغ محفظه احتراق میسوزند.
A condition in which an aircraft reciprocating engine tries to run after the ignition is turned off. Dieseling normally occurs when the engine is overheated. Carbon particles inside the cylinders become incandescent and ignite the fuel-air mixture in the cylinder and keep the engine running.
