نوعی ترموستات در سیستمهای تهویه مطبوع هواپیماها که وظیفه کنترل دما را به عهده دارد. این قطعه از یکسری لوله های کنترل کننده تشکیل شده که نسبت به تغییرات فشار (در اثر تغییر دما) واکنش نشان داده و گرما و سرما را کنترل می کند. فشار معمول در این لوله ها بین 15 تا 18 پوند بر اینچ مربع است که تا 20 پوند نیز میرسد.
Description
A pneumatic thermostat is a thermostat that controls heating or cooling of airconditioning system via a series of air-filled control tubes. This "control air" system responds to the pressure changes (due to temperature) in the control tube to activate heating or cooling when required. The control air typically is maintained on "mains" at 15-18 psi (although usually operable up to 20 psi).
