Jet pipe

The jet pipe is the component of a jet engine that channels the high-temperature, high-velocity exhaust gases from the turbine section to the atmosphere. It serves as the final passage through which the gases exit, converting thermal and pressure energy into kinetic energy to generate thrust according to Newton’s third law. The geometry and surface finish of the jet pipe influence engine efficiency, thrust vectoring, and acoustic signature.
