Brake

1-A device for slowing or stopping a moving vehicle, typically by applying pressure to the wheels.

2-A metalworking shop tool used to make straight bends across sheets of metal. Brakes can be adjusted to make bends with the proper bend radius and bends having the correct number of degrees. See box brake, cornice brake, finger brake, and press brake.
