Landspout

Small tornadoes that form for a short time in the form of funnels under cumulus clouds are generally weak, but sometimes their speed can reach up to 100 miles per hour, and this funnel-shaped column extends to the ground. The equivalent of these small tornadoes also occurs under cumulus clouds over the sea or other body of water, which is called waterspout.
Landspouts are a type of tornado that forms during the growth stage of a cumulus congestus cloud by stretching boundary layer vorticity upward and into the cumulus congestus's updraft.
They are smaller and weaker than the intense tornadoes but still can be quite dangerous.
