وضعیتی که در آن هواپیماها در منطقه ای از فضای هوایی خیلی نزدیک به یکدیگر قرار گرفته و احتمال خطر برای آنها وجود دارد. به این وضعیت aircraft proximity hazard نیز گفته میشود.

A situation in which aircraft are too close to one another in an area of airspace and there is the possibility of danger to them. Also called aircraft proximity hazard
