خنک سازی سریع موتور پیستونی با کم کردن ناگهانی اهرم گاز، در حالی که موتور داغ است و هوای بیرونی خیلی سرد است. این حالت باعث می شود که سیلندر در اطراف پیستون ها منقبض شود و موجب سایش شدید جداره داخلی سیلندر گردد.
Description
Rapid cooling of a piston engine by suddenly retarding the throttle while the engine is hot and the outside air is cold. Shock cooling causes the cylinders to shrink around the pistons and cause serious cylinder wall scuffing.
