یک سیستم ابزار الکترونیکی برای هواپیمای مدرن که پارامترهای موتور را حس می کند و آنها را بر روی یکی از دو نمایشگر رنگی روی پنل نشان دهنده ها نشان می دهد. EICAS تغییرات در هر یک از پارامترها را ارزیابی نموده و براساس محدودیت های برنامه ریزی شده در سیستم ، خلبان را از هر تغییری که می تواند باعث وقوع اشکال گردد آگاه می سازد.
اطلاعات واجب و حیاتی در همه زمان ها نشان داده میشود، اما چنانچه هر یک از پارامترهای دیگر نیز از حد مجاز خود خارج گردد به طور خودکار نمایش داده می شود.
Description
An electronic instrument system for modern turbine-powered aircraft that senses engine parameters and displays them on one of two multicolor display units on the instrument panel. The EICAS evaluates changes in any of the parameters and, based on programmed limits, warns the flight crew of any changes that could signal an impending problem. Only vital information is shown at all times, but any of the sensed parameters are automatically displayed when they fall outside of their allowable range of operation.
