مخروطه اگزوز موتور، قسمت قیفی شکلی که در پشت توربین در موتورهای توربینی قرار گرفته است ، و متشکل است از یک مخروط داخلی که توسط یک مخروط یا پوشش خارجی موتور احاطه شده و انتهای باز آن نازل اگزوز را تشکیل می دهد. عملکرد مخروط اگزوز جمع آوری و هدایت گازهای تخلیه شده از توربین است.
مخروط اگزوز همچنین از جریان یافتن گازهای گرم به سمت دیسک توربین جلوگیری می کند.
Description
An assembly behind the turbine wheel of a gas turbine engine, consisting of an inner cone surrounded by an outer cone or casing, the open end of which forms the exhaust nozzle. The function of the exhaust cone is to collect and direct discharge gases from the turbine wheel.
The exhaust cone also prevents the hot gases from flowing across the rear face of the turbine disc.
