افشانک
وسیله ای است که برای مکش سوخت یا بخار از محفظه یا سیستم مورد نظر استفاده قرار می گیرد. این قطعه شبیه به پمپ خلاء یا کمپرسور است. تفاوت اصلی بین آن و پمپ خلاء یا کمپرسور این است که هیچ قسمت متحرکی ندارد. از این رو نسبتاً کم هزینه و تعمیر و نگهداری آن نسبتاً آسان است.
در حقیقت این قطعه نوعی Jet pump است و به عنوان مثال در سیستم سوخت هواپیما از آن استفاده می شود تا اطمینان حاصل شود که محفظه ای که boost pump ها در آن قرار گرفته اند پر از سوخت است. عملکرد آن به این صورت است که بخشی از سوخت پمپ شده از boost pump از طریق یک لاین مجزا وارد افشانک شده و در اثر جریان در آن خلاء بوجود آورده و در نتیجه سوخت را از مخزن اصلی بیرون می کشد و آن را داخل محفظه ای که boost pump قرار دارد می ریزد.
Description
An ejector is a device used to suck the gas or vapour from the desired vessel or system. An ejector is similar to an of vacuum pump or compressor. The major difference between the ejector and the vacuum pump or compressor is it had no moving parts. Hence it is relatively low-cost and easy to operate and maintenance free equipment.
In fact this is a form of jet pump and for example it used in an aircraft fuel system to assure that the compartment in which the boost pumps are mounted is kept full of fuel. Part of the fuel from the boost pump flowing through the ejector produces a low pressure that pulls fuel from the main tank and forces it into the boost-pump sump area.
