ریخته گری فشاری ،در این روش از ریخته گری فلز مذاب با فشار وارد قالب شده وشکل گرفته و در همان حالت یعنی تحت فشار مواد مذاب منجمد می‌شود و امکان تولید قطعات با استحکام بالا را می‌دهد. ریخته‌گری تحت فشار کوتاه‌ترین راه تولید یک محصول از فلز می‌باشد. یکی از مزایای این روش، تولید قطعات بسیار نازک و همچنین با استحکام بسیار زیاد می‌باشد که ساخت آن توسط روش‌های دیگر ریخته‌گری تقریباً غیرممکن می‌باشد.
از این روش معمولاً برای ریخته گری فلزات غیر آهنی، مثل روی، مس، آلومینیوم، منیزیم، سرب، فیبر و آلیاژهای قلع استفاده میگردد.
Description
Die casting is a metal casting process that is characterized by forcing molten metal under high pressure into a mold cavity. The mold cavity is created using two hardened tool steel dies which have been machined into shape and work similarly to an injection mold during the process. Most die castings are made from non-ferrous metals, specifically zinc, copper, aluminium, magnesium, lead, pewter, and tin-based alloys. Depending on the type of metal being cast, a hot- or cold-chamber machine is used.
