Corrosion prevention compound

A special oil that has little tendency to run off of a surface on which it is sprayed. Corrosion prevention compound is sprayed into the cylinders of a reciprocating engine when it is to be stored. This compound forms an airtight seal over the surface of the metal and keeps air and moisture away from the surface. When air and moisture cannot reach the metal, corrosion or rust cannot form on it.
