Pilot induced oscillations

The rapid oscillations caused by the pilot's over-control on the control surfaces motion. This situation usually occurs during takeoff or landing and as a result of the pilot's obsessive reactions to aircraft unwanted tendencies and in severe cases can lead to the aircraft being leave out of control and resulting in damage.
