Flareless fitting

Flareless fittings, commonly referred to as compression fittings, establish secure, leak-free connections using a compression-based sealing method rather than tube flaring. They incorporate a nut and a single ferrule that slide over a tube whose outer diameter aligns with the inner diameter of the receiving fitting. As the nut is tightened to the correct torque, the ferrule compresses tightly against the tube, forming a robust seal. These fittings are widely used in applications requiring reliable tubing connections, particularly in high-vibration systems, as they dampen movement better than flare fittings. Additionally, they offer an effective solution for thicker tubing, eliminating the need for flaring.
